Albert Arthur Baldinger was born July 27, 1915 in Detroit, Michigan to Albert Arthur and Emma Eva (Weber) Baldinger and passed away on April 15, 2008 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 82 years, 8 months, 19 days. Albert attended Western High School in Detroit, Michigan. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served during World War II, from 1944 1946.
On December 29, 1946, Bert was united in marriage to Mildred Viola Mueller at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Dearborn, Michigan. Their union was blessed with three children, Tim, Ken and Christine. Bert was a die model maker for Chrysler Corporation for many years. They moved to Seward in 1987, from Livonia, Michigan.
As a member of Hillcrest Evangelical Free Church Bert was blessed by attending and leading Bible classes. He served as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and enjoyed gardening and fishing.
Bert was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Emma Baldinger.
Bert is survived by his wife, Mildred "Millie" Baldinger of Seward; his sons and daughters-in-law, Rev. Tim and Sue Baldinger of Matthews, North Carolina and Ken and Charlotte Baldinger of Seward; his daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Rev. Merle Mahnken of Schleswig, Iowa; grandchildren, Mike Baldinger and wife Robin, Mindy and Tim Miller, Matt Baldinger, Justin Baldinger, Kira Baldinger, Sarah Mahnken and Hannah Mahnken; other relatives and a host of friends.
