Anna Mary (Murray) Haase was born August 14, 1911 in Overton, Nebraska to Arthur and Mary (Wagner) Murray and passed away on April 30, 2006 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 94 years, 8 months, 16 days. She attended country school in the Nebraska Sandhills. Anna was united in marriage to Herbert Haase on September 12, 1934 in Norton, Kansas and to this union was born 4 sons and 4 daughters. They lived south of Seward, then moving to Ulysses and Anna moved into Seward 10 years ago. Anna enjoyed making quilts, crocheting and baking as a part of being a homemaker. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Middle Creek, rural Seward. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Haase; her parents, Arthur and Mary Murray; her sons, Virgil Haase and Ervin Haase; daughters-in-law, Leona Haase and Judy Haase; two grandsons, a great-great-grandson; four brothers, Marvin, Bill, Ray and Francis Murray and a sister, Alice Barta. Anna is survived by her children and their spouses, Charles and Geraldine Haase of Seward, Viola and Douglas Rueth of Petersburg, Clifford and Judy Haase of Surprise, Hanziena and Larry Svoboda of Surprise, Eleanora and Lloyd Polivka of Gold Canyon, Arizona, Anna and Kenneth Dasher of Seward; 24 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and a host of friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with Anna. |
