Ardith Rachel (Wiebe) Bredow was born September 5, 1931 in Harvard, Nebraska to Jacob and Rachel (Ross) Wiebe and passed away in Omaha, Nebraska on April 15, 2012 at the age of 80 years, 7 months, 10 days. Ardith attended school in Clay Center, Nebraska and was a 1948 graduate of Aurora High School. She attended Lincoln School of Commerce for one year and York College for 2 years. Ardith was united in marriage to Ralph Wilfred Bredow on June 23, 1953 at Alameda Naval Air Station in California In January of 1954, they moved back to Nebraska and resided in Omaha for 16 years, Elkhorn for 16 years and then moved to Seward County in 1987. She worked in Lincoln as a secretary to the Farm Loan Association and from 1970 to 1975 was employed with Boys Town Elementary School. Ardith was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (Marysville) and the choir, Ladies Aid and LWML. Ardith is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Dallas Wiebe and son-in-law, Randy Klopp. Survivors include her husband, Ralph Bredow of Omaha; sons Tim Bredow, Redmond, WA and Daniel Bredow of Omaha; her daughters Linda Klopp of Omaha and Sheila and her husband Robert Reiss of Omaha; seven grandchildren, Ian Reiss, Breanne Reiss, Tanner Reiss, Jacob Klopp, Rachel Klopp, Michael Klopp and Daniel Bredow; brother and sister-in-law, Gordon and Nadeene Wiebe of Puyallup, WA; sister-in-law, Peggy Wiebe of Houston, TX; nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
