Barbara J. Holling-Mayhew was born on July 28, 1969 in Omaha, Nebraska to Jerald C. and Julie M. (Schwaninger) Holling and passed away in Seward, Nebraska on November 15, 2009 at the age of 40 years, 3 months, 18 days. Bobbi was a 1987 graduate of Bennington High School in Bennington, Nebraska and attended Metro Tech and Gateway Electronics. On March 14, 1998, she was united in marriage to Rick Mayhew at Zion Lutheran Church in Omaha. Bobbi founded Holli-May Horse Rescue of Ulysses, Nebraska. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jerald C. and Julie M. Holling. Bobbi is survived by her husband, Rick Mayhew of Ulysses; her daughers Allison and Caitlin Mayhew and son, Joshua Mayhew, all of Ulysses; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue and Lynn Krause of Homer, NE, Nancy Holling of Louisville, KY, Jeralyn and Tim Callahan of Brady, NE; brother and sister-in-law, David and Tracy Holling of Elk City, NE; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, David Mayhew of Dallas, TX; sister-in-law, Lori Mayhew of Waverly, NE and many friends. |
