Barbara Ann (Haase) Lemmert was born on February 19, 1935, in Seward, Nebraska to August and Leona (Scharton) Haase and passed away on August 24, 2022, in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 87 years, 6 months and 5 days. After graduating from St. John Lutheran School and Seward High School in 1953, Barbara then attended Lincoln School of Commerce.

On March 10, 1955, she was united in marriage to Vernon Lemmert and to this union they were blessed with three children, Michael, Paul, and Michelle. Barbara was a devoted spouse and mother to her children as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a homemaker and a stay-at-home mom and worked part-time as a janitor for Pleasant Dale Elementary for years. Barbara also worked at Russ's Floral Department, and in her later years she volunteered at Et-Cetera in Seward. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and especially cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed being in her yard and feeding the birds. Barbara loved playing the piano as well as sewing and doing cross stitch. She enjoyed spending time with her sister, Judi and traveling with her husband.

Barbara was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Pleasant Dale and served as a Sunday school teacher for years. She was also a member of the Ladies Suncatchers Group. Barbara was involved in the community of Pleasant Dale where she served as Secretary of the Village Board and was a member of the Pleasant Dale American Legion Post #354 Auxiliary.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernon Lemmert; younger sister, Linda Haase; brother-in-law, Eugene Hromas; nephew, Adam Porter.

Survivors cherishing her memory include her children, Michael and wife, Wynnie Wahlfeldt, Aurora, CO, Paul Lemmert, Pleasant Dale, Michelle and husband, Steve Rogge, Pleasant Dale; grandchildren, Jill and husband, Tom Hansen, Kristen and husband, Trent Millet, Eric Lemmert and fiancé, Alexis, Matthew and wife, Nicole Rogge, Samuel and wife, Monica Rogge, Sarah Rogge and fiancé, Harrison Martin; great-grandchildren, Kaylynn and Everett Hansen, Addison, Mya and Everly Millet, Addison Rogge, James and Noah Rogge; sister, Judith Hromas; sister-in-law, Brenda Sanchez; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
