Barrett Chase Gleason was born on September 11, 2025, at 1:46 a.m. in Lincoln, Nebraska to Logan and Hannah (Kohl) Gleason weighing 5 pounds, 14 oz and was 18.9 inches long. He went to be with his Heavenly Father on September 11, 2025, at 4:57 a.m. while wrapped in his parents' loving arms. Barrett was born with anencephaly, so his time on earth was brief, but he brought so much love and joy to those who loved him deeply.

Barrett is survived by his parents, Logan and Hannah Gleason of Lincoln, NE; brother, Tate Gleason; grandparents, Barry and Gloria Kohl of McCook, NE, Jeff and Kim Gleason of Grand Island, NE; uncles, Trevor (Abby) Gleason and their children, Hadley and Stevie, Nathan Gleason; numerous other family members.
