Berno Marie Anderson was born in Seward, Nebraska on July 5, 1929, the only child of Bernice (Grunwald) and Col. John Sumner Anderson of Seward. She died in Lincoln on March 25, 2007, at the age of 77 years, 8 months, 20 days, after a long illness. Her childhood and school years were spent in the Midwest and California. Miss Anderson worked for Kodak Hawaii for several years. She held a Florida real estate license and had lived and worked in Miami until moving to Lincoln due to failing health. Known by many of her friends as Sonny, Berno was devoted to her parents prior to their deaths and had enjoyed traveling extensively. She is survived by her cousins: Marian Fosler, Jane Graff and Nancy Radford of Seward; William Ramsay and Dorothy Heidemann-Nelson of Lincoln.
