Beverly Ann (Roebke) Erks was born July 8, 1954 in Seward, Nebraska to Earl Herbert and Ella Emma Caroline (Tiemann) Roebke and passed away on December 12, 2013 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 59 years, 5 months, 4 days. Bev was baptized at Immanuel Lutheran Church (Middle Creek) and attended school through the 8th grade at Middle Creek. Bev was a 1973 graduate of Seward High School. She worked for ISCO in Lincoln in the tool and die department for five years. On April 8, 1978, Bev was united in marriage to Ronald Ray Erks at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward. They lived all of their married life southeast of Utica where Bev helped with the farm work. In the Fall of 2006, Bev began employment with Centennial High School in custodial services. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Utica and of the Seward County Sheep and Wool Growers Association. Bev loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing and she especially enjoyed their time at Clear Creek Resort, southwest of Columbus. Bev is preceded in death by her father, Earl Roebke and her step-father, Leroy Krueger. Survivors cherishing Bev's memory include her husband, Ron Erks, Utica; mother, Ella Krueger, Seward; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Dean Fritz, Seward; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Margie and Maurice Sergent, Columbus and Joyce and Frank Schmidt, Lincoln; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; her dogs, Dottie and Suzie and a host of friends.
