Della Blanche (Soss) Schulz was born November 8, 1905 in Ulysses, Nebraska to William Goodwin and Della (Fry) Soss and passed away on October 21, 2005 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 99 years, 11 months, 13 days. Blanche was a graduate of Seward High School. On November 18, 1925, Blanche was united in marriage in Seward, Nebraska to William Christopher Schulz. To this union one daughter was born, Lois. For many years they lived in the Seward community and upon retirement they lived at McAllen, Texas and Brainerd, Minnesota. Blanche was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ in Seward. Preceding Blanche in death were her husband, William C. Schulz in 1983; her parents, William and Della Soss; her sister, Esther Kauffman and her son-in-law, Donald L. Bickel. Blanche is survived by her daughter, Lois A. Bickel, Edina, Minnesota; her grandsons, William R. Bickel, Edina, Minnesota and Donald D. Bickel, Corcoran, Minnesota; two great-grandchildren, Madeleine and David Bickel and a host of friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with Blanche. |
