Obituary

Bonita J. "Bonnie" (Rohren) Hagemoser was born on September 26, 1929, in Beaver Crossing, Nebraska to Wes and Irene (Wattles) Rohren and passed away, surrounded by family, on June 25, 2024, in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 94 years, 8 months and 30 days.

Bonnie grew up in Seward and graduated from Seward High School with the Class of 1947. On September 4, 1949, Bonnie was united in marriage to Richard "Dick" Hagemoser and to this union two children were born, Tim and Beth. She worked at Cattle Bank and Trust in Seward until Dick finished college, then moved to Valparaiso and Waverly. While living in Waverly she worked at a bank and National Crane. The couple then moved back to Seward in 1972, where they owned and operated the Coast to Coast store for 19 years. Bonnie then went back to work at Cattle Bank and Trust for the next 19 years, until her retirement in 2010.

In her free time, Bonnie loved to read and was known to read an entire book in one day. She attended bible study and enjoyed playing cards and doing crafts. Bonnie often supported and cheered her grandchildren on at their sporting events.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dick Hagemoser; parents-in-law, Paul and Fern Hagemoser; brother, Bill Rohren and wives, Ginny Rohren and Karen Rohren; brothers-in-law, Boyd Gabel and Dick Hershberger.

Survivors cherishing her memory include her children and their spouses, Tim and wife, Manuela Hagemoser, Beth and husband, Jim Woolsey; six grandchildren, Kevin and wife, Cari Hagemoser, Eric Woolsey, Kelly and husband, Dan Spivey, Jill and husband, Craig Ehlers, Yamila Hagemoser, Gibran Hagemoser; nine great-grandchildren, Gabe Woolsey, Noah Woolsey, Westin Woolsey, Tessa Spivey, Luke Spivey, Blair Ehlers, Max Ehlers, Parker Hagemoser, Theo Hagemoser-Contreras; siblings and their spouses, Dr. Don and wife, Charlotte Rohren, Karen and husband, Marvin Hines; sisters-in-law, Carol Hershberger and Molly Gabel; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dr. Wayne and Marilyn Hagemoser.
