Bonnie Lee (Jakub) Lueders was born June 4, 1939 in Seward, Nebraska to Peter Pete and Veronica Verna (Sedlak) Jakub and passed away in Lincoln, Nebraska on May 30, 2009 at the age of 69 years, 11 months, 26 days. Bonnie was a 1958 graduate of Assumption High School in Dwight, Nebraska. Prior to her marriage she worked at the ASCS office and the bank in David City. On November 21, 1964, Bonnie was united in marriage to Larry Maurice Lueders at Dwight Assumption Catholic Church. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Mark and Kelly. Bonnie and Larry farmed all of their married life. She loved the farm and was an active participant in its daily operations. Bonnie was also employed in housekeeping at the Dandy Lion Inn in Seward, with Jakub Dairy for 9 years and most recently worked for Region V Services in Seward for the past 5 years. Bonnie enjoyed gardening, flowers, traveling and time spent with her family and grandchildren. She was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church and PCCW in Seward.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Verna Jakub; her husband, Larry Lueders in 1998; her brother, Willis Jakub; and her father-in-law & mother-in-law, Elmer & Rose Lueders.

Bonnie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Sheila Lueders of Seward; her daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Ryan Stelling of Milford; five grandchildren, Kendra Porter, Jordan Roberts and Tanner, Taylor and Sydney Stelling; brothers and sisters-in-law, Marvin and Michele Jakub and Dwayne and Nancy Jakub, all of Brainard; her sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Gary Kudlacek of Grafton; aunts, Marie Coufal, Seward, Mary Sedlak, Omaha, Gladys Jakub and Eleanore Kobza both of Lincoln; her uncle, George Jakub of North Quincy, Massachusetts; nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers, and memories of life shared with Bonnie.
