C. Eileen Ahlrichs was born on October 22, 1942, in Auburn, Nebraska, the daughter of Lee and Berneice (TeSelle) Burling and passed away on October 5, 2015, in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 72 years, 11 months and 13 days. Eileen grew up near Hallam and graduated from Malcolm High School. She worked for Jack and Jill, Hinky Dinky and SunMart as a Produce Manager for many years. She later worked at McDonald's for six years. Eileen was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the V.F.W. and St. John Lutheran Church. She earned her Business Management degree while raising her four children. Eileen loved baking and having her children and grandchildren home for Christmas. She enjoyed bowling and playing cards with friends and family. Eileen was united in marriage to Larry Ahlrichs on October 16, 1993, at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward. Eileen was preceded in death by her husband Larry on July 17, 2015, her parents and her brother Larry. Survivors include her children and spouses, Holly and David Lewis of Martell, NE; Penney and Tim Foss of Lincoln, NE; Doug and Jessica Brauer of Silver Springs, MD; and Trevis and Lori Zimmerman of Gering, NE; stepchildren, Larry and Rose Ahlrichs, Lincoln, NE; Jennifer Ahlrichs, eight grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, Dean Burling, Wayne and Rose Burling and Joann Burling all of Lincoln, NE; two nephews and one niece.
