Obituary

Cara Sue Pankoke was born on July 7, 1953, in Casper, WY; to Jack and Marjory (Harris) Fish and passed away on October 28, 2013, in Lincoln, NE; at the age of 60 years, 3 months and 21 days. She grew up in Sidney, NE; where she graduated from High School. On November 16, 1979, she married Keith Pankoke in Cordova, NE. Cara worked at several different business including Toovey Repair, Walkers and most recently in receiving at Wal-Mart. Cara enjoyed reading, and crossword puzzles. She was a Girl Scout leader for many years. Cara loved trips with the family, and spending time with her grandsons who she loved dearly. Cara is survived by her husband, Keith of Beaver Crossing, NE; daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and Mike Turner of Bradshaw, NE; 3 grandsons, Michael, Kaleb and Brycen Turner of Bradshaw, NE; her mother, Marjory Fish of Sidney, NE; step-granddaughter, Cheyenne of CO; sisters and brothers-in-law, Rue and Tom Toovey of TX; Tamara and Ralph Smith of TN; Jackey and Brad Vizina of Sidney, NE; and brother, Jay Fish of Sidney, NE; mother-in-law Josephine Pankoke of Beaver Crossing, NE; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and her Wal-Mart family. She was preceded in death by her father Jack Fish, brother, Ron Fish, and father-in-law, Clarence Pankoke. It was Cara's wish to be an organ donor and then be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at Zabka Funeral Home with Rev. Tamara Holtz officiating.
