Carl Shelby Fosler was born September 5, 1955 in Seward, Nebraska to Harry Dale and Marian Margaret (Ramsay) Fosler and passed away at his home near Milford, Nebraska on March 26, 2011 at the age of 55 years, 6 months, 21 days. Carl was a 1973 graduate of Seward High School and a 1977 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Agricultural Education and Agricultural Economics. Carl was united in marriage to Linda L. O'Brien on September 6, 1980 in Shelton, Nebraska. Their marriage was blessed with two daughters, Amanda and Corissa. In 2001, Carl became a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones. He was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Seward and the Lincoln Northeast Kiwanis where he had served as President and was involved with the Back Pack Program. Carl is preceded in death by his father, H. Dale Fosler and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harlan and Leithe O'Brien. Survivors who will cherish Carls memory include his wife, Linda L. Fosler, Milford; daughters, Amanda Fosler, Lincoln, Corissa Fosler and fiance, Geoffrey Gross, Lincoln; granddaughter, Addisyn Hazel Gross; mother, Marian Fosler, Milford; siblings, Steven Fosler and partner, Mark Smith, Portland, OR; Susan and E.V. Walsh, Seward and their children, Vince and Jen Walsh, J.B. and Shannon Walsh, Elizabeth and Shawn Troyer, Aaron and Sarah Walsh; CoraLynn "Corky" and Charles Malmberg, Pender and their children, Julie Malmberg and fiance, Andrew Grawe, Sam and Jenn Malmberg; Clark and Julie Fosler, Lincoln and their children, Kaitlin Fosler, Molly Fosler, and Max Fosler; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Patricia O'Brien, Shelton and their children, Robert O'Brien, Barbara and Joe Berglund; Thomas O'Brien, Lincoln; great nieces and nephews, Alexa Walsh, Zoe Walsh, Emily Walsh, Abby Walsh, Evin Walsh, Lyra Walsh, Halley Herring, Maggie Troyer, Grace Troyer, Camron Berglund and Emmilly Berglund.
