Carol Lee Karash was born May 8, 1938 in Grand Island, Nebraska to Frank Arthur Deeds and Violet "Vi" Beatrice (Kelly) Deeds and passed away on September 12, 2015, at the Ridgewood Care Center in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 77 years, 4 months, 12 days. Carol grew up in the Grand Island area where she met her future husband Paul Edmund Karash and they were married on February 11, 1965. The couple lived in Hastings, Nebraska and Denver, Colorado before moving to Bee, Nebraska on September 25, 1977. Carol worked at Bethesda Care Center, Dandy Lion Inn, and Pac N Save in Seward, Nebraska before retiring. Carol loved to cook and create various quilts, afghans, and scarves which she shared with many family and friends. Carol had an outgoing personality and could talk with anyone about anything at any time. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Thomas Allen Deeds; sister, Dorothy Mae Brown and three brothers, Lloyd Arthur Deeds, Marion Edward Deeds and Henry Albert Deeds. Carol is survived by her husband, Paul Edmund Karash; daughter, Katherine Marie Duensing; son-in-law, Michael David Duensing; sisters, Shirley Ann Buehrer, Janice Kay Callan; brothers, Roger Allen Deeds, Robert Dean Deeds; sisters-in-law, Wilma Deeds, Bev Deeds; brother-in-law, Art Brown and numerous nieces and nephews. Carol was blessed with five grandchildren, Benjamin Wilton, Heather Karash, Crystal Deeds, Brandon Duensing and Dylan Deeds; along with five great-grandchildren, Cohen Gaghagen, Ava Gaghagen and Ayden Deeds, Avery Deeds and Edi Wilton.
