Charles Whitney Concklin was born on March 2, 1938, in Los Angeles, California to Charles S. and Helen (Cox) Concklin and passed away on December 11, 2016 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 78 years, 9 months, and 9 days.  Charles attended Rosewood Elementary School in Los Angeles and John Burrows Junior High School.  After graduation from high school Charles served in the Coast Guard.  For many years Charles was a surveyor in the oil industry. In the late 1970's Charles moved to Seward along with his step-sister, Florence Tingle.

Preceding Charles in death were his parents, Charles and Helen, and his step-sister, Florence Tingle.

Charles is survived by the many friends and neighbors he made during his years in Seward and a long time friend, Warren Soethoet, from his school days in California.
