Charles Wilbur Watson was born December 19, 1939 in Seward County, Nebraska to Burdette Elmer and Margaret L. (Stilwell) Watson and passed away on February 8, 2012 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of72 years, 1 month, 20 days. Charlie was a 1958 graduate of Seward High School. He was employed with Rolfsmeier Dairy for a number of years, the elevator in Seward, the Ulysses Coop and beginning in 1966, spent 47 years with Schulz Transfer, Seward. Charlie was a lifetime fisherman and hunter. Charlie was united in marriage to Esther Stelling in August of 1959 and their marriage was blessed with five children, Gary, Charlene, Mary, Sherry and Danny. He was united in marriage to Kathy Schweitzer in June of 1973 and their marriage was blessed with three children, Sandra, Jason and Michael. Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, Burdette and Margaret Watson; his brother, Virgil Watson; daughter, Sherry Watson and granddaughter, Ashley Watson. Charlie is survived by his children and their spouses, Gary and Teresa Watson, Hebron, Charlene and Levi Engelman, Beatrice, Mary and Ray Rhyne, St. Joseph, MO, Danny and Heather Watson, Fairbury, Sandy Watson, Norfolk, Jason Watson, Omaha, Michael and Tammy Watson, Norfolk, Dave Radford and Mitzy Rerucha, Omaha, Tammy and Jeff Draper, Valparaiso; 17 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Joan Machacek and Andy Murgas, Beaver Crossing, Charlotte and Carl Markee, Necedah, WI; sister-in-law, Linda Watson, Utica; and a host of friends.
