Clifford Louis Pederson was born May 28, 1933 in Seward, Nebraska to Henry and Ella (Schroeder) Pederson and passed away on February 12, 2006 at home with his family in Goehner, Nebraska at the age of 72 years, 8 months, 15 days. He graduated from Seward High School. He then served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. On March 16, 1958 Cliff was united in marriage to Shirley Ann Bottrell in Pleasant Dale, Nebraska. Cliff was a third generation farmer on the original family farm near Goehner. He was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ in Goehner where he served on the church council. He was also a retired member of the Goehner Volunteer Fire Department and the Beaver Crossing American Legion Holmes Post 178. He served as secretary on the Mound Prairie cemetery board. Cliff enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing cards and attending his grandchildrens activities.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two infant sons, Mark and Scott.

Cliff is survived by his wife, Shirley Pederson of Goehner, daughters and sons-in-law, Shelly and Tim Troyer of Milford, Tammie and Chris Rieger of Utica, Deb and Greg Staehr of York, son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Rhonda Pederson of Omaha, grandchildren, Michelle and Jerod Spahr, Melissa and Jamie McCullough, Mandy Troyer, Michael Troyer, Heath Rieger, Nathan Rieger, Anthony Rieger, Arin Staehr, Carston Staehr, Chase Pederson and Jack Pederson; brother, Wayne Pederson of Syracuse, nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
