Connie Kay (Schluckebier) Wustrack was born March 10, 1953 in Seward, NE, the daughter of Carl William and Vivian Ann (Westerhoff) Schluckebier and passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at her home near Ulysses, Nebraska at the age of 60 years, 2 months, 1 day. Connie was baptized May 31, 1953 at Friedens United Church of Christ in Goehner and confirmed on March 19, 1967 at Faith Lutheran Church in Seward. Connie was a 1971 graduate of Seward High School. On August 30, 1975, she was united in marriage to Doug Wustrack and their marriage was blessed with three children, daughter, Nicki and twin boys, Trevor and Travis. Connie was employed at Farmers Mutual Insurance in Lincoln, with Hughes Brothers in Seward for 17 years, at the Lincoln Correctional Center and was currently owner of Kiser Creek Kennel in Ulysses. Connie is preceded in death by her son-in-law, Scott Dey and sister-in-law, Diana "Didi" Schluckebier. Survivors who will cherish Connie's memory include daughter and son-in-law, Nicki and Matt Schaefer, Staplehurst; sons and daughters-in-law, Trevor and Shannon Wustrack, Falls City, Travis and Ashley Wustrack, Lincoln; grandchildren, Braeden Dey, Landen Schaefer, Reid Wustrack; parents, Carl and Vivian Schluckebier, Seward; siblings and spouses, Annette and Howard Rasmussen, Tallahassee, FL, Peggy and Don Fitzpatrick, Omaha, William and Carolyn Schluckebier, Brownwood, TX, Daniel and Cindy Schluckebier, Springfield, VA; Fred and Shelley Schluckebier, Seward; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Dennis Sloup, Ulysses; father of their children, Doug Wustrack, Staplehurst, and a host of friends.
