Dale Duane Moyer was born on September 14, 1936 to Lloyd Moyer and Ruby (Sonday) Moyer in Milford, Nebraska. Dale attended Seward High School in Seward, NE. Later he served his country in the United States Marines and was stationed in Korea. After his discharge he became a painter and one of his painting projects was the KOLN TV tower located near Goehner, NE. He also was a business man purchasing and running a truck stop which was located at 27th and Cornhusker in Lincoln, in the middle 1960's. Dale was married in 1967 to Linda Shull. To this marriage two sons were born, Kevin and Daniel. After retirement he enjoyed fishing with his brother-in-law George Hubbard and playing with his two grandchildren. Dale passed away on September 23, 2016 at the age of 80 years, 9 days.

Dale is survived by his two sons, Kevin and his wife Amy and their two children, Alex and Jake, Lincoln; Daniel and girlfriend, Amy, Omaha; four sisters, Phyllis Klindworth, Fremont, Shirley Schuknecht, Lincoln, Elaine (George) Hubbard, Lincoln, Marlene (Earl) Graves, Seward; many nieces and nephews; mother of their sons, Linda; and a host of coffee buddies and friends.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Richard Moyer.
