Daniel Edward Luethke was born August 17, 1971 in Seward, Nebraska to Edward and Patricia (Schmitt) Luethke and passed away on October 5, 2005 at the age of 34 years, 1 month, 19 days. Daniel was baptized on August 29, 1971 and confirmed on March 31, 1985, both at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Staplehurst, Nebraska. He attended Christian Day School at Our Redeemer Lutheran School and was a lifetime member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Daniel was a former employee of Orschelns in Seward. Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Edward Luethke, his brother, Steven Luethke, his grandparents, John and Anna Luethke and Edward and Rose Schmitt. Daniel is survived by his mother, Patricia Luethke, Seward; sister and brother-in-law, Jacqueline and Dean Gocke, Seward; brother, Jonathan Luethke, Bee; niece and nephews, Kayla and Dalton, Seward; uncles and aunts, Norman and Helen Schmitt, Crete, Bob and Marilyn Schmitt David City, Ralph and Elaine Luethke, Seward, Colleen and David Cingle, Papillion, Shirley and Paul Ehlers, David City; great aunts, Dorothea Fritz, Staplehurst, Lillian Jansa, Wahoo, Helen Odvody, Malmo; great uncle, Gerhard Barghahn, Staplehurst, cousins and a host of friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with Daniel. |
