"Rest in Peace David Paul Rolfsmeier was born July 4, 1942 in Seward, Nebraska, the son of Paul and Magdelen Rolfsmeier. He passed away on January 18, 2014 in Lincoln, NE. Dave graduated from Seward High School in 1960, and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He had a lifelong interest in business and agriculture, specifically in the cattle and farm equipment areas. Among his accomplishments, he worked to bring Nebraska dairy cow agricultural methods to Japan, Korea and Iran. Dave enjoyed chatting with friends, attending church and listening to music- some of his favorites included Dean Martin and the Bee Gees. He was interested in technology and transportation, and spent many miles in his diesel Pontiac Bonneville on cattle sales trips across the country. Dave was preceded in death by his mother and father, and is survived by his daughter Molly Rolfsmeier and son-in-law John Abraham, daughter Liz Rolfsmeier and son-in-law Thomas Lemmer, and son Paul Rolfsmeier; grandchildren Olivia, Lilith, and Avory; sister Kathie Baumbach and brother-in-law Spencer Baumbach, niece Page Holmes, and nephew Christopher Baumbach.
