Dean Allen Brockhoff, Lincoln, was born on February 18, 1926, in St Joseph, Missouri and passed away on August 15, 2022.

Dean graduated from Seward High School midterm in 1944 to enlist in the U.S. Navy where he attended radar operator school at Point Loma, San Diego, California.   He served as a radar operator aboard an attack transport in the Pacific during World War II.  After being discharged from the Navy, he graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University.  Dean was employed by Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and lived in Chicago, Illinois, and Kalamazoo, Michigan.  Dean returned to Seward and was employed by Protective Fire and Casualty Company, and later Jones National Bank.  He retired from the Nebraska Department of Insurance in Lincoln.

Dean married Phyllis Eberspacher on September 2, 1955.  To this union two children were born, Gary and Lisa. Dean was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a friend to all.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents, Cliff and Mary Brockhoff; wife, Phyllis Brockhoff. Survivors cherishing Dean's memory include his children, Gary and wife, Jodi Brockhoff, Lincoln, Lisa Brockhoff, Omaha; grandchildren, Matthew and wife, Brittany Brockhoff; great-grandchildren, Camden and Berkeley Brockhoff, Lincoln; nieces, nephews, and friends.
