Debra Lynn (Swanson) Soucek was born March 8, 1954 in Vallejo, California, the daughter of Steinard Jules and Catherine Helen (Eastgate) Swanson and passed away at her home in Bee, Nebraska on September 16, 2015 at the age of 61 years, 6 months, 8 days. Debbie was a 1973 graduate of East Butler High School. On December 30, 1973 she was united in marriage to Terry Jay Soucek in Seward, Nebraska. Debbie was employed at the Dandy Lion for several years and most recently was an employee of Walmart for over seven years. She was a life member of Seward VFW #4755 Auxiliary. Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Steinard and Catherine Swanson; her brother, Reginald Swanson; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, A.J. and Vivian Soucek. Survivors cherishing Debbie's memory include her husband, Terry Soucek, Bee; son and daughter-in-law, Corey and Amber Soucek, Gretna; daughter, Angie Soucek, Seward; six grandchildren, Alex Soucek, Caloway Soucek, Keaton Soucek, Mckinley Soucek, Alyssa Osorio, E.J. Soucek; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Bob Malzac, Seward; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kevin Swanson, Wichita, KS, Mike and Deb Swanson, Gilroy, CA, Russell Swanson, Wichita, KS, Charlie and Deb Swanson, Raymond, Stein and Sue Swanson, Friend; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sandy and Mick Vercellino, Lincoln; nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
