Debra Ann (Rerucha) Pollak was born on July 13, 1957, in Seward, Nebraska to Fred and Velma (Bartels) Rerucha and passed away on August 15, 2022, in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 65 years, 1 month and 2 days.

Debra was raised in Seward where she attended school and graduated with the Class of 1975. She was united in marriage to Jerry Pollak on August 1, 1980, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Seward. Debra worked in the Pac N Save deli in Seward where she met several friends. She was a homemaker as well as a wonderful mother. Debra was a devout Christian and a woman of faith who always looked on the bright side. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes as well as reading. Debra was a collector of numerous items, with her favorite being her collection of praying kids. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Debra is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Velma (Bartels) Rerucha; stepmother, Naomi (Craig) Rerucha; infant daughters, Shannon and Tessa; infant grandchild, Peyton.

Survivors cherishing her memory include her husband, Jerry Pollak, Seward; children, Travis and wife, Gretchen Pollak, Seward and Kacy Pollak, Kearney; grandchildren, Logan, Jake and soon to be born, Kaylee Pollak, Seward; siblings, Carolyn and husband, Dale Yates, David City, Steve and wife, Diana Rerucha, Harrisburg, AR, Marcia Rerucha, Kearney; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
