Debra
Rogers
March 8, 1954 – February 8, 2025
Debra Renee Rogers was born on March 8, 1954, in Lincoln, Nebraska, the daughter of James B. and Caryl D. (Besse) Runyan, and passed away on February 8, 2025, at her home in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 70 years and 11 months.
Deb grew up in Kailua, Hawaii where she attended and graduated from Kailua High School with the Class of 1973. It was there that she met Benjamin Rogers who was stationed in Hawaii while serving in the Marine Corp. They were united in marriage on November 20, 1976, in Kailua. In 2008, Deb and Ben moved to Omaha for Ben's job and to be closer to their children. Deb loved working in her garden and helping with her granddaughters after their mom, Danielle, passed away. She was a faithful participant of the ALS walk in honor of her brother, Jim.
She was preceded in death by her father, James B. Runyan, Sr.; mother, Caryl Schulz; mother-in-law, Nina Rogers; daughter, Danielle Harre; brother, James B. Runyan, Jr.; brother-in-law, Bill Rogers.
