Della Gertrude Policky was born December 2, 1916 in Dwight, Nebraska to Joseph and Mary (Hraban) Kadavy and passed away in Seward, Nebraska on March 22, 2010 at the age of 93 years, 3 months, 20 days. Della was united in marriage to Lewis L. Policky on November 20, 1934 and their marriage was blessed with seven children. Della was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church in Seward. Della is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Kadavy; her husband, Lewis L. Policky in 1979; son-in-law, Wes Johnston; grandson, Rick Johnston; five sisters and five brothers. Survivors of the immediate family include her three daughters, Shirley Johnston of Arvada, CO, Jo Ann Bunde and her husband Dennis of Grand Island, Beverly Tidd and son-in-law Lin of Arvada, CO and four sons, Lloyd Policky of Milford, Tom Policky of Colorado, Larry Policky of Seward and Tim Policky of Westminster, CO. Della is also survived by 17 grandchildren and step grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; and her three sisters, Ag Johnson of Grand Island, Lucille Trousil of Dwight and Evelyn Shonka of Colorado Springs, CO.
