Delores Marie Augusta (Paulsen) Miller was born August 20, 1929 at Cook, Nebraska to Reinhart "Harry" Henry and Hilda Lydia Rose (Morrissey) Paulsen and passed away on August 24, 2009 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 80 years, 4 days. Delores attended Cook Elementary School in Cook and was a 1946 graduate of Lincoln High School in Lincoln. Delores was employed with Farmers Mutual Insurance Company in Lincoln for many years. On January 31, 1954, Delores was united in marriage to J. Don Miller; they moved to Seward in 1962 when they opened Master Cleaners and operated the business together. Delores was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ in Seward and Gleaners, Sewing Circle and Women's Fellowship Group associated with church. She was also a member of Order of Eastern Star and GFWC Seward Women's Club. She enjoyed her Bridge Club, Ladies Day Out, and square dancing. Delores was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Harry H. and Hilda Paulsen; her husband, J. Don Miller in 2005; her grandson, Rodney Stauffer; brother, Norman Paulsen and sister, Erma Brown. Delores is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Sherie Stauffer, Community Care Center of Utica and Linda and Clark Kolterman, Seward; six grandchildren, Philip and Michelle Kolterman, Denver, CO, Nathan and Dr. Lynn Kolterman, Hastings, Amanda Kolterman, Seward, J.J. Kolterman, Columbus, Felicia and Bill Markworth, Norfolk, Robert Kolterman, Seward; great-grandchildren, Clara and Jonathan Kolterman, Hannah Kolterman-Wagner; sisters and brother in-law, Helen and Lloyd Parker, Idonna Paulsen, all Lincoln,; brothers and sister-in-law, Harry and Marilyn Paulsen, Phoenix, Gary Paulsen, Lincoln; sister-in-law, Barbara Miller, Medford, OR; nieces and nephews; special friend, Joyce Meyer, Seward and a host of friends.
