Denise Elaine (Long) Taylor was born on July 10, 1970 in Compton, California to Joe and Elaine (Bice) Long and passed away on January 19, 2024 in Benedict, Nebraska at the age of 53 years 6 months and 9 days.

Denise grew up in Paramount, CA where she attended school. She later moved to Hebron, NE in 1994. While in Hebron, she worked for Metromail in Seward, and later as a CNA in Hebron. Denise started dating the love of her life, Mark Kidwell, in 2013. The couple were lifelong friends who later fell in love. In her younger years, she enjoyed going to different dances and spending time with her family. She was a devout mother, grandmother and significant other. She loved her family more than anything.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors cherishing her memory include her children, Brandon Long, Seward, NE, Dillon Taylor, Seward, NE; granddaughter, Rowan Long; fiancé, Mark Kidwell, Seward, NE and his children, Dustin and wife, Chelsea Kulsziski and their children Ethan and Autumn; aunt and uncle, Jeff and Susan Downey, Benedict, NE; siblings, Michael Long, Lisa Lopez; many other friends and relatives.
