Obituary

Dennis Ray Waldrop was born March 22, 1943 in Imperial, California, the son of Hurley and Marzalene (Evans) Waldrop and passed away on June 18, 2014 at his home in Garland, Nebraska at the age of 71 years, 2 months, 27 days. Denny received his GED from Seward and attended Concordia and Southeast Community College. Denny was employed with the City of Lincoln in the sewer department for several years and most recently was a customer/sales service representative with Pacific Century Cyber Works of Lincoln, Nebraska. Denny was united in marriage to Sue Ann (Evans) Waldrop on January 2, 1987 in Seward, Nebraska. He had lived in Garland for over 40 years. Denny was preceded in death by his parents, Hurley and Marzalene Waldrop; a brother, Ray Waldrop and sisters, Valeria Harper, Carol Decker and Thelma Goings. Denny is survived by his wife, Sue Waldrop, Garland, NE; children, Michael Schroeder, Stillwater, OK, Arthur Waldrop, Lincoln, NE, Jeremy Waldrop, Lincoln, NE, Brandy and Jason Williams, Huber Heights, OH, Dawn Eckles, Seward, NE, David and Jennifer Jones, Jones, OK, Joshua Jones, Lincoln, NE, Jonathan and Angela Waldrop, Lincoln, NE, Timothy and Rosa Waldrop, Lincoln, NE, Terrel Waldrop, Wahoo, NE and Ashley Waldrop, Lincoln, NE; and 10 grandchildren, Earl Schroeder, Jacob Eckles, Samantha Jones, Charlie Mae Williams, Malorie Brown, Nicole Brown, Frances Williams, Morgan Eckles, Blake Fredric and Creighton Jones; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great - great nieces and nephews.
