Devin Lee Joseph Lara was born February 27, 2000 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Tess Lee (Schweitzer) Lara and passed away in Omaha, Nebraska on March 14, 2007 at the age of 7 years, 16 days. Devin was a first grade student at St. Patrick's Catholic School in Lincoln. He participated in and enjoyed ATA Taekwondo in Lincoln; he was fascinated with Star Wars and SpongeBob. Devin's life was full as he shared laughter, imagination and love with his family. Devin is survived by his mother and her fiance', Tess Lara and Trey Watson of Lincoln; his brothers, Conner Watson and Bryan Watson; sister, Autumn Watson; his grandparents, Dave and Gloria Schweitzer of Pierre, SD, Robert Remmick of Lincoln and Rae Troester of Lincoln; uncles and aunts, Brenda Remmick, Dale Remmick, Martin Schweitzer, Tina Fleming, Mike Schweitzer, Tracy Lopez, Tammy Tow, Dan Dillard, Chris Troester and Daniel Troester; several cousins and many friends. Thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with Devin are a special treasure. |
