Diana Kay (Hans) Tieken was born May 12, 1950 in Seward, Nebraska to Arnold Fred and Louise Anna (Schroeder) Hans and passed away at her home on November 30, 2009 at the age of 59 years, 6 months, 18 days. Diana attended District No. 80 through the 8th grade and was a 1968 graduate of Seward High School. On January 18, 1969 she was united in marriage to Lynn Charles Tieken in Lincoln, Nebraska. Their marriage was blessed with two daughters, Nikki and Stacy. They lived all of their married life in the Seward area. Diana was employed for 12-15 years with ACTON Marketing in Lincoln. Diana is preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Louise Hans; her sister, Bonnie Schultz and a nephew, Tim McDonald. Diana is survived by her husband, Lynn Tieken of Seward; her daughters and future son-in-law, Nikki Tieken of Lincoln and Stacy Tieken and Shawn Briney of Milford; grandchildren, Jordan Tieken and Kyhana Tieken; sisters and brothers-in-law, Loretta and Wayne Roebke of Crete, Marlene and Larry McDonald of Lincoln, Betty Eggerling of Lincoln; brother-in-law, Kenny Schultz of Pleasant Dale; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers, and memories of life shared with Diana. |
