Don Lee Ohlschwager was born July 4, 1933 in Seward, Nebraska the son of Elmer Carl and Mildred Grace (Comer) Ohlschwager and passed away in Lincoln, Nebraska on May 14, 2017 at the age of 83 years, 10 months, 10 days. Don was employed with the State of Nebraska Department of Roads and later as a candy maker with Russell Stover and House of Bauer in Lincoln. For over 25 years Don was employed with Crete Carrier. Don was united in marriage to Virginia Lee Corning on September 18, 1964 and they lived all of their married life in Lincoln. Their marriage was blessed with seven children.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Mildred Ohlschwager; step-father Clyde A. Walker; his wife, Virginia in 2013; brother and sister-in-law, Gerald "Jerry" and Mary Ohlschwager and daughter-in-law, Sarah Ohlschwager.

Survivors cherishing Don's life include his children and their spouses: Donnie Ohlschwager of Sequin, TX, Lisa Ohlschwager-Spalding and Jim Spalding of Clinton, IA, David and Marie Ohlschwager of West Palm Beach, FL, Julie Ohlschwager of Medford, OR, Kevin Ohlschwager of Lincoln, Mary and John Carman of Lincoln, Nancy and Wayne Musgrove of Cheyenne, WY; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
