Obituary

Donna Sisel was born on July 18, 1945, in Lincoln, Nebraska to Henry and Christina (Kudlacek) Fiedler of Ceresco, Nebraska and passed away on September 4, 2018 in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 73 years, 1 month and 17 days.

Donna attended country grade school. She was a cheerleader at Valparaiso High School where she graduated with the Class of 1963. After high school Donna enrolled at St. Joseph College of Beauty. After graduating she opened her own shop, Set N' Style, in her future home. On September 19, 1964, Donna married Bud Sisel and to this union three children were born, Michelle, Rebecca and Ryan. After starting their family she closed her shop to raise her children. In 1983 Donna went to work for Lucille Duer Hair Salon in Seward, later becoming Shear Reflections. She attained many customers and friends there. Donna was very faithful to them and loved them dearly. Her family was her first priority. She loved cooking and feeding a house full of guests. Donna loved her music; she would often turn off the t.v. and turn on the radio. She and Bud loved to dance. They enjoyed making the "loop" where they would drive around to look at the crops. She also loved nature and watching the animals, especially the deer and working in her garden. Donna was a longtime member of the Assumption Catholic Church and Altar Society.

Donna was preceded in death by her father, Henry Fiedler; father and mother-in-law, Cyril and Albina Sisel.

Survivors cherishing her memory include her husband of almost 54 years, Bud; children and spouses, Michelle Trojan and husband Ed, Rebecca Roseland and husband Brian, Ryan Sisel and wife Brenda; eight grandchildren, Travis Trojan and wife Abby, Spenser Zegers and wife Jessica, Lynsey Valenti and husband Andy, Callie Zegers, Alexis Crist, Logan Crist, Keaton Roseland, Carson Sisel; two great grandchildren, Jaxon Valenti and Regyn Valenti; mother, Christina Fiedler; brother, Grant Fiedler.
