Dorothy Marie Mancheski Matulka, age 98, died November 5, 2023 at the Papillion Manor, Papillion, Nebraska. She was born July 25, 1925 to Vincent Stanley and Mary Ann Holda Mancheski in Denmark, Wisconsin. She had nine siblings: Gertrude Rabas, Leonard, Donald, Anne Steinfeldt, Jean Schoen, Edwin, Felix, Lawrence and Ferdinand.

Dorothy married Edward (Ed) Joseph Matulka October 1, 1949 in Pine Grove, Wisconsin, and moved to a farm near Dwight, Nebraska. The couple had a son and three daughters.

She is survived by daughters Mari Matulka-Sidzyik (John) of Bellevue, Dolly Lund-Collins (Paul) of Canistota, SD, Betsy Bridgeford (Joe) of Omaha, six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, brother Lawrence Mancheski of Denmark, Wisconsin

Besides her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ed; son, Gregory E. Matulka, Sr.; son-in-law, W. Scott Lund; grandchildren, Gregory E. Matulka, Jr., Sherry Matulka and Lesley Lund.
