For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life . . . She was born June 16, 1925 in Detroit Michigan and was united in marriage on July 20, 1945 to David Bruce Stewart, Jr. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, David Bruce Stewart, Jr.; her parents, Louis and Pearl (Fortune) Maris; her brother, Louis Maris and sisters, Virginia Lindsay and Ruth Cram Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David B., III and Jacquelyn Stewart of Seward and daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Hans Lehr, Saratoga Springs, NY; four grandchildren, David IV, Kristin, Sarah, Matthew, and their spouses, Monica, EJ and Nathaniel; four great-grandchildren, Myla, David, Evan and Stellan; brother-in-law, Walter Lindsay and sister-in-law, Ingrid Maris; special friends include, Ann Sypitkowski, Delores Grundish, Alice Kimball, Alice McLean, Edith Steinmiller, Carly Roth, the Abdi Boozar family and especially the gentle, caring staff at Sundermann East, Seward |
