Douglas Louis Reinmiller was born September 16, 1960 in Seward, Nebraska to Carl Louis and Norma Jean (Graham) Reinmiller and passed away at his home in Staplehurst, Nebraska on January 26, 2011 at the age of 50 years, 4 months, 10 days. Doug was baptized on October 9, 1960 at Immanuel Lutheran Church and was confirmed on April 7, 1974 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Staplehurst. Doug was a 1978 graduate of Seward High School. Doug was the co-owner of Hymark Towing in Staplehurst. Doug was a member of the Staplehurst Volunteer Fire Department and served as Fire Chief. He was also a member of the Sandy Meadows Golf Course in Waco. Doug enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, fishing and coaching baseball. Doug is preceded in death by his father, Carl "Woody" Reinmiller, Jr.; his sister, Debra Reinmiller and his grandparents, Carl Reinmiller, Sr. and Mary (Schomburg) Reinmiller and Howard and Barbara (Wolfe) Graham. Survivors who will cherish Doug's memory include his mother and stepfather, Norma and Fredrick "Fritz" Duer, Staplehurst; sister, Donna Otte and Bill Wood, Seward; brother and sister-in-law, David and Catherine Reinmiller, Kansas City, MO; step sister and step brothers and their spouses, Tamala and Marty Clausen, Hooper, NE, Robert and Pamela Duer, Atlanta, GA, Bryan Duer and Dee Spence, Seward; nieces and nephews and their spouses, Troy and Michelle Schaefer, Travis and Janelle Schaefer, Christian Reinmiller, Jacob Reinmiller, Louis Reinmiller; great nieces and great nephews, Tarra Patterson, Trevor Patterson, Traetyn Schaefer, Talan Schaefer, Jeffi Clare Schaefer; former wife and friend, Sharon Reinmiller and her sons and their spouses, Shaun and Erin Benedict, Jeremy and Becky Benedict and their families; other relatives and a host of friends.
