Drago Gligorevic was born on May 27, 1946 in Bradina, Bosnia-Hercegovina to Mirko and Mara (Andric) Gligorevic and passed away on May 13, 2021 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 74 years, 11 months and 16 days.

Drago grew up in Bradina where he attended school. He served two years in the military. Drago was united in marriage to Milojka Krstic on October 13, 1969 in Bradina. He worked as a security guard and a fireman in Sarajevo for many years. After the Civil War broke out in Bosnia, Drago and his son, Darko were prisoners in the Celibici     concentration camp from 1992 – 1995. Darko escaped and came to the United States. Drago was later released and he and Milojka came to the United States as refugees in 1996 and later became U.S. citizens. Drago enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in the yard. He also enjoyed smoking different kinds of meat. Drago loved staying busy and being outdoors. He loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Maksim and Boro Gligorevic; sister, Vesa Gligorevic.

Survivors cherishing his memory include his wife, Milojka, Seward; two sons, Velibor and wife, Slavica Gligorevic, Cedarburg, WI, Darko and wife, Suzanne Gligorevic, Seward; six grandchildren, Despot and wife, Adele Gligorevic, LaCrosse, WI, Nikolas Gligorevic, Seward, Stefan Gligorevic, Seward, Andrea Gligorevic, Cedarburg, WI, Aleksandar Gligorevic, Cedarburg, WI, Damien Gligorevic, Seward; great-grandson, John "Jovi" Gilgorevic, LaCrosse, WI; brother, Milo Gligorevic, Australia.
