Earl Everett Robotham was born March 3, 1932 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Harry Plin and Etta Quiteria (Brown) Robotham and passed away in Seward, Nebraska on January 7, 2010 at the age of 77 years, 10 months, 4 days. Earl was a 1950 graduate of Malcolm High School. He served in the U.S. Navy. On January 12, 1958, Earl was united in marriage to Dorothy Paula Leybold at Emmanual Lutheran Church in Lincoln. Their marriage was blessed with four children, John, David, Ed and Lori. They lived in the Pleasant Dale area all of their married life. Earl worked for his father on the farm until 1969 and then began employment with ADM (Gooch) in Lincoln for 21 years. Earl was a member of the United Methodist Church in Seward and Tri-Cs. He was a lifetime member of American Legion Post No. 354 in Pleasant Dale.
Earl is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Etta Robotham; two brothers, Frank Robotham and Plin L. Robotham and one nephew, William Robotham.
Earl is survived by his wife, Dorothy Robotham of Seward; his sons and daughters-in-law, John Robotham, Pleasant Dale, David and Deb Robotham, York, Edward and Pam Robotham LeMars, IA; daughter, Lori Robotham, Seward; six grandchildren, Wess and Shannon Robotham, Dale Robotham, Chris Prince, Ryan Robotham, Elizabeth Robotham, Katherine Robotham; two great-grandchildren, Xavier and Alexander; brothers and sister-in-law, Leonard R. and Phyllis Robotham and Donald Robotham all of Pleasant Dale; sister and brother-in-law, Harriett L. and James Booher, Santa Rosa, CA; sister-in-law, Carol Robotham, Marquette; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with Earl.
