Edward V. Kotera was born February 26, 1929 in Brainard, Nebraska to Louis Sr. and Marie (Bohuslavksy) Kotera and passed away on May 19, 2006 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 77 years, 2 months, 21 days. Ed attended Romaine Grade School near Dwight. He helped on the farm and lived with his parents. He worked with his brother, Louis at the Bee Coop for many years. Ed was a resident of Sundermann Home in Seward. He was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Bee. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Sr. and Marie Kotera; an infant brother, Emil; brother, Ernest Kotera and sister, Rose Furasek. Ed is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Louis, Jr. and Marie Kotera of Seward; his sister, Helen Eller of Valparaiso; sister-in-law, Dorothy Kotera, Seward; nieces and nephews and their families and friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with Ed. |
