Mary Elizabeth (Parnham) Wright was born August 17, 1920 in Seward, Nebraska, the daughter of Charles and Ruth (Sanders) Parnham and passed away in Waverly, Nebraska on April 8, 2014 at the age of 93 years, 7 months, 22 days. Elizabeth attended Seward High School. On November 17, 1949 she was united in marriage to William Armstrong Wright at Rockport, Missouri and their marriage was blessed with one daughter, Barbara. They lived all of their married life in Lincoln, until Elizabeth and Bill moved to the Waverly Care Center in 2013. Elizabeth was employed at Safeway in Lincoln and later at Hinky Dinky in Lincoln as Office Manager. Elizabeth enjoyed bowling, playing cards, the Burlington Camping Club and Husker football games. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ruth Parnham; her brother, Chet Parnham; and a niece, Judy Parnham. Survivors cherishing Elizabeth's memory include her husband, William Wright, Waverly; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Vic Wright, Lincoln; three grandchildren, Becky and Bob McGrath, Eagle, Rod and Jodi Wright, Westcliffe, CO, Rhonda and Mark Connett, Lincoln; two great-grandchildren, Jennifer and Nick Manning and Aaron and Sharon McGrath; three great-great-grandchildren, Elleigh and Kynzie Manning and Isaac McGrath; a nephew, James Parnham, Lincoln and many friends.
