Emil Vaclav Policky was born February 4, 1929 in Seward, Nebraska to Ludvik Anton and Mary A. (Coufal) Policky and passed away on April 19, 2006 at his home in Bee, Nebraska at the age of 77 years, 2 months, 15 days. He attended rural school district No. 70. Emil served in the U.S. Army from March 12, 1951 through December 11, 1952. On November 3, 1953, Emil was united in marriage to Rose Catherine Tlamka at Assumption Catholic Church in Dwight. They were the parents of one daughter, Patricia. Emil was a farmer and they lived in York, the Garland area, and the Staplehurst/Bee area for 35 years and moved into Bee in 1972. Emil also worked for the State of Nebraska Department of Roads for 4 years. Emil was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Bee, the Bee Volunteer Fire Department and American Legion Post No. 110 in Dwight. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ludvik and Mary Policky, his wife, Rose Policky in 1997; two infant daughters; his brother Ludvik K. Lou Policky; two nephews, Larry Tlamka and Charles Policky. Emil is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Patti and Fred Kozisek, Seward; four grandchildren, Bill Kozisek and friend, Sherri and her son, Toby; Bob Kozisek, Katie Kozisek and friend, Derrick, Nicole Kozisek; one great granddaughter, Kylie; brother, Ray Policky, Bee; sister, Lillian Tlamka, David City; sister-in-law, Georgia Policky, Seward; nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with Emil. |
