Emily Jean Hill was born on March 24, 1986, in Lincoln, Nebraska to Thomas and Suzan (Spahn) Yearley and passed away on February 15, 2026, in Fairmont, Nebraska at the age of 39 years, 10 months and 22 days.

Emily was raised in Goehner, NE where she was homeschooled and graduated in 2005. She worked at Ridgewood Rehab and Care Center in Seward for a short time before beginning her work at Pac n Save Grocery for over 10 years. On June 26, 2018, Emily was united in marriage to Eric Hill. In June of 2024 Emily was diagnosed with cancer. Emily then worked at Walmart until her cancer began to affect her health to the point that she could no longer work. She enjoyed going on hikes, cooking and watching movies. Emily loved the outdoors, growing her vegetable garden and numerous species of plants and flowers. She was an avid reader and especially loved to read the Bible.

Emily is preceded in death by her children she lost too soon, Benjamin and Rose.

Survivors cherishing her memory include her husband, Eric Hill of Fairmont, NE; parents, Thomas and Suzan Yearley; brothers, Peter Yearley and Paul Yearley; half-sister, Lisa Yearley; mother-in-law, Doris Hill; sister-in-law, Shannon and husband, Cody Kaiser; brother-in-law, Justin Hill; aunt-in-law, Deloris “Dee” Ward; niece, Jayden Hill; cousin-in-law, Brad Ward.
