Obituary

Fae Ellen Hinrichs was born on January 12, 1928 at home on a farm near Eagle, Nebraska to Fred and Frances (Reeve) Rudolph and passed away on March 3, 2012 at the age of 84 years, 1 month, and 20 days. She was baptized on June 17, 1928 in the Methodist Church at Eagle. While in high school, she sangs solos and enjoyed singing all her life. She graduated from Eagle High School in 1945 and then went to the University of Nebraska that summer and received a three year teaching certificate. She taught three years in Otoe County Schools at $150.00 per month. She married Otto H. Hinrichs at the Eagle Methodist Church on August 20, 1949. They lived on the family farm until moving to Emerald, Nebraska in 1984. She was confirmed in 1950 at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward and became a Ladies Aid member. She was a 4-H leader for 10 years in Seward County and extension member for 25 years in Seward County. She was a member of the Emerald Extension Club. Fae became a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Pleasant Dale in April of 1999 and the Ladies Aid and a Social Club member since 1997. Preceding Fae in death were her parents, Fred and Frances Rudolph and her beloved husband, Otto on July 20, 1989; sister, Phyllis Ziemann. Fae is survived by her children, Ronald and wife Lucy Hinrichs of Malcolm, NE; and Krista and husband Rodney Braunsroth of Pleasant Dale, NE; seven granddaughters, Amanda Hinrichs, Heather and husband Jeff Kulhanek, Brooke and husband Brenton Stebbins, Brittany Hinrichs, Elisha and husband Cory Smisek, Stephanie and husband Kevin Watson, and Susan and husband Ryan Devereux, 8 great grandchildren, Madison and Caden Kulhanek, Katherine, Eli and Quiton Stebbins, Jadyn and Tyler Watson, Patrick Devereux. Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Pleasant Dale, NE; with Reverend David Whan officiating. Burial will follow at the Seward Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012 with the family receiving friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Zabka Funeral Home, Seward, NE.
