Frank Eugene Robotham was born February 3, 1922, in rural Pleasant Dale, Nebraska to Harry Pliny and Etta Quiteria (Brown) Robotham and passed away in Milford, Nebraska on February 20, 2008 at the age of 86 years, 17 days. Frank was a 1941 graduate of Malcolm High School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and received six medals from his tour of duty, the Good Conduct Medal, Victory Medal, European-African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, French Medal for Liberation, Bronze Star and Silver Star. On August 10, 1949, Frank was united in marriage to Joanna Salvatora Gatto in Lincoln, Nebraska. To this union four children were born, Margaret, Sharon, Gary and Ronald. Frank farmed and also was employed with Gooch Mill/ADM, retiring in 1985. Frank was a 50+ year member of East Lincoln Masonic Lodge No. 210. He was a long time member of the United Methodist Church, United Methodist Men and Tri-C's, in Seward. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Etta Robotham; his wife, Joanna S. Robotham in 2004, his brother, Plin L. Robotham and a nephew, William Robotham. Frank is survived by his children and their spouses, Margaret A. and Kenneth Brock, Sharon L. and John Vinsonhaler, Gary L. and Deborah Robotham, Ronald A. and Deb Robotham, all of Pleasant Dale; nine grandchildren, Randall and Kimberly Voehl, Derek Voehl, Natalie and Kory Aase, Jeffrey and Lindsey Vinsonhaler, Melanie Robotham, Brien Robotham, Tamera Robotham, Devon Robotham and fiance, Jaclyn Steffensmeier, Daniel Robotham and fiance, Brittany Hergenrader; seven great-grandchildren, Levi Voehl, Shawn Voehl, Kaitlea Voehl, Leslie Aase, Jillian Voehl, Kaden Aase, and Bishop Vinsonhaler; brothers , Leonard R. and his wife, Phyllis Robotham, Donald L. Robotham, all of Pleasant Dale, Earl E. and his wife, Dorothy Robotham, Seward; sister and her husband, Harriett L. and James Booher, Santa Rosa, CA; sister-in-law, Carol Robotham, Marquette; other relatives and a host of friends.
