Frieda Carolina Sophie Dargel was born on October 4, 1913 in Seward County, Nebraska, east of Middle Creek to Julius and Amelia (Bauer) Dargel and passed away on December 16, 2007 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 94 years, 2 months, 12 days. Frieda was baptized on October 14, 1913 by Pastor A. merz at Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church. She attended Christian Day School at Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran School. After due instruction, she was confirmed on the 13th of April, 1927 at Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church by Pastor A. Merz. Frieda did housekeeping in Lincoln for many years. She moved to Seward in 1956 and worked at Seward Memorial Hospital for 18 years in the laundry department. Frieda was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Seward. Frieda was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Amelia Dargel; her brother and sisters-in-law, John and Selma Dargel and Marie Dargel. Frieda is survived by her brother, Julius Dargel of Seward and a host of friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with Frieda. |
