Obituary

Gail Ann Hanseling was born on November 6, 1952, to Walter and Margaret Ann (Blacker) Miiller. She left this earth to be with her Savior on December 27, 2025, at the age of seventy-three.

Gail's childhood was spent on the family farm near Beaver Crossing with her four siblings, where she drove the old ford tractor and convinced cousins to touch the electric fence. After graduating high school from Centennial, she went on to college and graduated with her dental assistant degree.

She met her husband, Roger Hanseling, and the two were married on December 5, 1981. The next many years were joyfully spent raising their five children on a farm of their own.

Gail made their home a place filled with laughter, where the door was always open to anyone who needed a place to sit and chat or a warm meal. Her days were filled with homeschooling, gardening, sewing, cooking, long conversations, and serving at church, especially nursery and children's ministries.

As the years went on, Gail was blessed with seventeen grandchildren. She embraced being a grandmother with her whole heart, attending as many sports games, piano recitals, swim meets, school functions, and other events as she could.

Gail's life was filled with food, family, and laughter until it's very last day, when she went home to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ.

Survivors cherishing her memory include her husband of forty-four years, Roger Hanseling; children and their spouses, Aaron (Jamie) Roux, Sarah (Nicholas) Jacobsen, Alicia (Lucas) Arndt, Jared (Nicole) Hanseling, Carrie (David) Iekel; siblings, Phil (Nancy) Miiller, Barb Naber, Carol (Randy) Reddekopp, Jay (Sonia) Miiller; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Arlyn (Vicky) Hanseling.
