Gary Lee Meinberg was born on December 29, 1944, in Seward, Nebraska to Walter and Mildred (Willers) Meinberg and passed away at his home near Pleasant Dale, Nebraska on March 15, 2022, at the age of 77 years, 2 months and 15 days.

Gary grew up in Seward and was a graduate of Seward High School with the Class of 1963. For several years he worked at the gas company in Lincoln and later worked as a carpenter. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Gary was also a very gifted woodworker and enjoyed restoring old tractors in his free time.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents and infant brother, Donald.

Survivors cherishing Gary's memory include his sister, Jane and husband, Steve Schnittker, Seward; nephews, Jason and wife, Julie Schnittker, Philadelphia, PA, Jeff and wife, Tiffany Schnittker, Lincoln; great-nieces, Claudia and Sadie Schnittker.
