Gary Lee Robotham was born December 5, 1954 in Aurora, Nebraska to Frank Eugene and Joanna Salvatora (Gatto) Robotham and passed away at his rural Pleasant Dale, Nebraska home on January 11, 2011 at the age of 56 years, 1 month, 6 days. Gary attended Lincoln, Garland, and Seward Schools and was a 1973 graduate of Seward High School. He attended Johnson Community College Welding School in Kansas City. Gary was united in marriage to Deborah Sue Meyers on November 5, 1976 at the Seward United Methodist Church. Gary was an employee of Hughes Brothers Manufacturing for 10 years and currently an employee of Burlington Northern Railroad in the track department as a welder. Gary was a member of the Seward United Methodist Church where he was active as a Sunday School Teacher for many years. He was also a member of Teamster Union 1320 - Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employee Division.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Joanna Robotham.
Left to cherish Gary's memory are his wife, Deborah Robotham of Pleasant Dale; his children, Melanie Robotham of Richardson, TX, Brien Robotham of Bellevue, NE and Tamera Robotham of Akron, OH; his sisters and brother and their spouses, Margaret A. and Kenneth Brock, Sharon L. and John Vinsonhaler, Ronald A. and Deb Robotham, all of Pleasant Dale; father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Irma Meyers of Goehner; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, a host of friends and his faithful companion, Lily "Slick". To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with Gary.
