Gerald Charles Varner was born in Seward, NE on June 10, 1943 to Charlie Lial and Frances Margaret (Coffey) Varner and died on July 10, 2011 in Los Angeles, California at the age of 68 years and 21 days. He attended Seward Public Schools. Gerald had been a resident of California for several years. He is survived by his brothers, Ron (Carol) Varner of Lincoln, Tom Varner of Lincoln, sisters, Joan (Norman) Miers of Seward, and Barbara (Michael) Demuth of Seward. He is also survived by his aunt Regina Coffey of Seward, his sister-in-law, Joan Varner of Seward, and brother-in-law, Dale Anderson of Seward, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Richard Varner, and his sister Rita Anderson. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers, and memories of life shared with Gerald. |
